🎬 Columbus Youth Media Group isn’t just a media program — it’s a launchpad for young creators!
We help kids and teens dive into the exciting world of photography, filmmaking, podcasting, journalism, and more. Whether they dream of being behind the camera, in front of the mic, or calling the shots, our programs give them the tools to create, grow, and shine.
It’s all about creativity, confidence, and real-world skills — all while having fun and making new friends. At CYMG, youth don’t just learn media... they use it to share their voice, tell their story, and shape their future.
Media Workshops
At Columbus Youth Media Group, our hands-on workshops let youth dive into the world of film, podcasting, journalism, and digital storytelling like pros.
With support from experienced mentors, students learn to write scripts, shoot videos, edit audio, and create content that pops — all using real tools and industry-standard tech. It’s creative, exciting, and built to inspire the next generation of media makers!
Project Based Learning
Students have an opportunity to work on real-world media projects that do more than just teach—they build teamwork, spark creativity, and boost communication skills.
Every project gives students the chance to lead, create, and be heard—helping them grow into confident storytellers ready for life, school, and careers beyond the classroom.

Vocational Skill Training
Our programs teach real job-ready skills—like digital literacy, time management, public speaking, and making smart, ethical choices—all through the exciting world of media production.
